Demonstrations throughout Europe get more violent?
Despite some scattered resistant from some of the 28 EU countries by demonstrations against the influx of refugees into Europe from the turmoil in the Middle East, Pope Francis continues to appeal to the kindness and sympathetic help from families in Europe to extend a helping hand to this tragedy.
The German Government came forward to lead in the assistance to accommodate the bulk of the refugees fleeing from the fighting. Every each day that gone by, more is seen fleeing the war-torn Middle East. For a small country like Syria, already over 4 million refugees fled for any place that would accept them. Many responded to such an appeal. The Scandinavian nations of Finland, Demark and Norway extended their help too. Even the Vatican took in a family to provide such a transition for their resettlement and continue to appeal to all those who could to do so.
The professional police force thankfully kept the protests in check without much major incidents of violence.
