Dr Ben Carson went to Syria

Dr. Ben Carson, one of the GOP Presidential hopefuls tried to shore up his slipping polls by making a trip to Syria to meet with some Syria refugees and to see first-hand the situation there for himself. His recent controversial comments and issue with comparing the Syrian refugees in a less flattering light has been said to cost him a sizeable slip in his popularity in the recent polls.

Donald Trump who was Dr. Carson's closest rival has regained his lead over the physician.
