Cruz wins over Trump in Iowa

Senator Ted Cruz is cruising his way to his first victory in the Iowa Caucus on February 1st 2016.

The last few days of heavy ground campaign to all the 99 counties of Iowa State paid off for Cruz among the Republican Party membership. In the Democratic Party, Secretary Clinton barely tipped off a lead in a close call among the Democrats. The top three from each party as it stands going to the press:

Cruz 28% Clinton 50%

Trump 24% Sanders 49%

Rubio 23% O’Malley <1%

Cruz is arguably the best debater among these Presidential candidates whether Republicans or Democrats. Many have credited his skills as a great communicator and that has influenced and garnered the confidence of the voters it seemed. Cruz was able to carry his message and his platform to the Iowans this first round.

But Iowa is the first State of 50 States with 49 to go.

The next State is New Hampshire on February 9th 2016.
